Files and captures
Project Files shows published output. Toolbox can also expose temporary files for consultation; these have a different lifetime and are not project publications.
Browse project Files
Section titled “Browse project Files”- Open Files after Data in the project navigation.
- Filter by the available path-prefix or file-kind controls.
- Use Previous/Next to move between metadata pages.
- Click a path or preview command to read the file.
- Use Download for its original contents.
Sorting applies to the current page, as indicated in the list. A path-prefix filter is not a complete folder tree. The current Files view does not add upload, folder creation or file-deletion commands.
Supported images, PDF documents and text can be previewed. HTML, XML and JavaScript are displayed as text, not executed. Text preview may show only an initial part with a notice; Download retains the complete original file. Unsupported or oversized previews can still offer a download.
Temporary Toolbox files
Section titled “Temporary Toolbox files”A generated file or screenshot may offer a temporary image preview or download while its Toolbox remains open. Other file types download directly. These files are not listed as saved project Files and are not durable record IDs.
Close/reopen or loss of that environment invalidates its temporary references. Older output may be evicted as new files are created. Minimizing an otherwise live Toolbox does not itself publish or permanently save its files. If a reference is unavailable, do not assume the application will rerun the action to recreate the same bytes.
An informational Preview only row may have no retained bytes and no download command. An external-destination reference is also distinct from an internal file download.
Save As
Section titled “Save As”Without a locator, Save As generates text from a supported format. With a locator, it can download from a Browser click or an HTML link. A locator with a supported format can supply a download URL. Set an output filename when needed; supported download responses can otherwise provide a basename.
Browser click downloads can use Robot/Human input. HTML follows real links, without operating JavaScript buttons. A blocked or interactive download is an error; do not assume every website’s download flow is supported.
Capture modes
Section titled “Capture modes”| Target | Capture choices |
|---|---|
| Browser | Visible page area, whole page, element, HTML and MHTML. |
| HTML | HTML source snapshot only. |
| Desktop Linux | Visible desktop image only. |
| Console | No image capture. |
For Browser element captures, Standard is the default even when Job input is Human. Explicit Human element mode can scroll/stitch the element and may move the visible page. Document snapshots have no image-quality controls.
PNG is lossless. Optional compression changes effort/size, not image quality: lower values favor compression and higher values favor speed. JPEG quality/compression are alternative controls; do not set both. Choose the applicable control shown for your selected format.
Publication and attachments
Section titled “Publication and attachments”Ordinary Sessions use effective Push file and destination settings. Explicit attachments can associate generated files with collected records. A configured external destination receives the selected result family instead of an extra internally stored copy; consult that destination separately.
Downloads and encoded image/document captures are generally limited to 32 MiB; text generation and particular readers can have narrower limits. A long whole-page capture can also be slow. Oversized files are not silently resized to fit.
Captures can contain customer data visible in the target application. Inspect them before sharing outside your workspace.
