Members and project access

Use the customer member administration pages when your role allows it. Membership grants access to your enterprise; project assignments refine access to particular projects.

  1. Open the available invitations page.
  2. Enter the colleague’s address and choose an appropriate role.
  3. Review and create the invitation.
  4. Use the provided invitation workflow to share or accept it.
  5. Check the resulting member state.

Creating an invitation does not by itself prove that an email was delivered. Follow the actual feedback offered by your workspace. Revoke invitations that should no longer be usable.

Typical responsibilities include administrator, designer, operator and reader. Your workspace’s configured permissions determine the exact commands.

Responsibility Typical use
Administrator Manage customer members, access and shared configuration.
Designer Create, edit and test automations.
Operator Run and supervise authorized work.
Reader Consult authorized information.

Do not infer a permission solely from a role’s name. Use the available role details and effective permissions. Technical identities have separate permissions and do not inherit a person’s interactive access automatically.

A project can inherit the member’s enterprise role, use an explicit project role or exclude the member. Return to inheritance when the enterprise role should apply again.

A project assignment does not turn a reader into an enterprise administrator. Review both the selected project and the member before saving.

Removing customer membership withdraws that enterprise access. It is separate from deleting the person’s account and does not erase enterprise Jobs, data, schedules or history.

The last capable customer administrator is protected from a change that would leave the enterprise without management access. Arrange another suitable administrator before a handover.

Credential revocation, membership removal and execution Stop are different actions. Review accepted Sessions and Tasks separately when a colleague leaves.
